Fogus Media is a user’s experience management platform for multimedia services. The platform realizes three interlinked functions, namely i) reliable, secure and passive Quality of Experience (QoE) monitoring, ii) efficient, dynamic and objective QoE estimation, and iii) robust and real-time QoE-driven service management. Fogus Media – Audience Part is a fully personalized software that may serve as a complement tool to a content delivery mobile application. It monitors the service provisioning procedure in a cross-layer manner at the terminal device and combines the monitored parameters with user’s profile and preferences. Optionally, a QoE measure may be send to the service provider to feed a customer experience management (CEM) strategy.
Fogus Media – OrchestraPart
Fogus Media - Orchestra Part encompasses a QoE provisioning logic to exploit the flexibility and re-configurability provided by the Network functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) technologies in a bidirectional manner. Its characteristic feature is that it may acquire QoE influence factors from anchor points in the network and apply QoE-driven service management policies.
